Magical Whimsie

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!
l want to share a new tag I made using one of
Lacy Sunshine's whimsie images.
Cute, huh?

I tried to make it magical.
I used my Twinkle H2O's for my background colors.
From light blue to purple.
I added some purple glitter to her dress, and some frontage around her.
I used Liquid pearls for my pearls.
I added some pretty fibers to my water, along with some glitter,
and Twinkle H2O's for a little shimmer.
I used some Tim Holtz Brass stain around the edges.
I added a gold die cut, with the word Magical on it for a little extra color.

I hope you'll check out all the images at Lacy Sunshine.
And maybe join in the fun of one of Lacy Sunshine's challenges.

Valentine's Day Gold

Happy Sunday!!
Hope everyone is doing wonderful today.
It is pretty cold here, so I am all bundled up and crafting.
What better way to spend the day?

I'd like to share my latest Lacy Sunshine project today.
I made a Valentine's Day card for my husband.

I used this wonderful image called Egyptian Princess of Love Enchantress.

Since my name is Holly, I recycled a pretty gold and white Christmas card
with a "holly" border.  I thought that seemed appropriate for my
husband's Valentine's Day card.

I added some simple pearls around the inner square, and outside corners.
I added a pretty gold heart, gold bow, and white roses dipped in gold glitter.
I also added some glitter to the image for some extra sparkle.

Hope you'll join us for our current challenge!

I wanted to share my take on the new January 2016 Tim Holtz tag challenge
Technique Remix.

A combination of chalkboard and metal.
I just love it!

Since I love pictures, I went with this camera stamp,
 and the travel embossing folder.
Love this method by Tim Holtz.

Ready for Christmas Dinner

I am so excited to share my latest project with this adorable

I needed a napkin holder for Christmas dinner
and this Lacy Sunshine Eleanor & Pickles Nutcracker image was just perfect!
I found this napkin holder at the local Thrift Store.
I do love a bargain!

So I went from this to...

THIS!

I started by spray painting my metal napkin holder black.
I layered red, black and white papers.
I also added a Tim Holtz Nutcracker, and a Holly die.
I also added Glossy Accents to her glasses for a more realistic effect.
Lastly I covered the whole design with Modge Podge.

Now I'm ready for Christmas dinner!

All Dressed Up for Ice Skating!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
It is sooooo cold here, and I am not ready for winter to come.
But, I am soooo ready for Christmas!!

Today I wanted to share a card I made to celebrate winter.
I used Little Skater from All Dressed Up stamps for my focal point.

Isn't she just the cutest Little Skater??
I added some snowflake cutouts, snowflake die, ice skates die, and a deer die.
I also added some cheesecloth to the background to add a little dimension.
And of course I needed more glitter, so I added glitter to all the
snowflakes on the paper!!
Because of course, there wasn't enough glitter in the ice skates or snowflakes.
