I also used 3 different of my favorite Spellbinder dies.

Simply Betty Secret Pumpkin Swap

Today starts the Simply Betty Secret Pumpkin Swap

This is the first time I have ever done anything like this,
so I wasn't quite as prepared as I thought I was.
But I have to admit it was a lot of fun!
I can't wait to do it again!

We were required to make a card/project using the Pumpkin Betty stamp.
And we had to include at least $25 worth of Halloween goodies for our
Secret Pumpkin swap partner.

I had the most fabulous Secret Pumpkin I could ask for.
My Secret Pumpkin was the extremely talented and very creative Anita Blake.
THANKS so very, very much for all that you have done!!!

Candy Holders, Trick or Treat Bags, Candy Boxes... Oh My!

Oh Boy!
Today we're making any kind of treat holders, such as
candy boxes, Trick or Treat bags, candy holders...

I decided to make a cupcake holder.
My family loves cake and cupcakes, so I thought that would be perfect.

I used the Cricut machine to cut out the cupcake wrapper.
Next I added 2 fabulous Simply Betty Stamps to the wrapper.

I also decided to add another Simply Betty Stamp as a cupcake topper.

Won't these be great to hand out at Halloween??
After all, who doesn't love a good cupcake?

Fairy Rose

I wanted to share a new card that I made.
I made this one for a very special young lady.

I found this great sketch from Friday Sketch Challenges that I used.

http://fridaysketchchallenge.blogspot.com/2014/10/sketch-80-by-deborah.html
I went with a Shabby Chic look for this card.

I used this sweet little Fairy Faye image from Tiddly Inks.
I added a photo frame from Tiddly Inks too.

I used some fabulous rose paper from Maja Papers.

I added a pretty cream doily and some pretty pink roses.

I added some liquid pearls around the border of the rose paper.
I also added a very simply sentiment... a Liquid Pearl Heart.  For Love.
I wanted to keep it very simply.

I backed the whole card in some pretty gold glittered cardstock.

I know it's almost Halloween, but the little girl I made this for used to
dress up as a fairy for Halloween, so I thought it would be perfect!

13 Days and Counting!

Time for a new 13 Days of Hallween Challenge
over at Simply Betty Stamps.

Today's challenge is all about Mummys.
All you have to do is wrap up your Simply Betty projects
with guaze or cotton or whatever!

For this project I decided to make a Halloween Countdown Calendar.

I selected a frame with a wide frame and covered it with a piece
of lace that I cut up from an old lace t-shirt that had been ruined.
I thought the lace would make a nice feminine Mummy look.

I used a Simply Betty stamp called "Who's Your Mummy Betty".

For my calendar, I used a 4x6 page from DCWV Spooky mat stack.

I put the calendar under the glass in the frame.
That way I could use a dry erase marker to mark up the calendar.
Then you can erase it, and reuse it next year.

I added a fun little sticker and the SBS sentiment that goes with
Who's Your Mummy Betty?.

I hope you will check out the other projects that are in the run
for the Princess of Halloween.  These ladies are very talented.
