But, I finally decided on using this great stamp from Lacy Sunshine.

I really love this stamp!
Every time I see it, I can't help but hear the Hot Chocolate song from
The Polar Express movie. I just love that song!

I colored her with my Copics and then I added some glitter (of course!).

I used a die cut from Spellbinders to cut out the square on the
 Chocolate brown paper.
Then I put the brown paper on some beautiful white glitter paper.
I framed them both with a little bit of Chocolate brown and put them all down
on some Martha Stewart Christmas paper that I got for Christmas.

The King

In celebration of our Saviour's birth, I decided to make a couple of more tags.
I used an absolutely wonderful Saturated Canary image called The King.
How appropriate for this time of year?
A great reminder of what this season is really all about.

I actually made these tags to hang on a small Christmas tree in my daughter and my Craft Room.  I thought it would be more appropriate than the
other decorations I had to put on it.

This is such a nice stamp by Saturated Canary emphasizing the Baby Jesus.
Just absolutely adorable.
Saturated Canary is having a wonderful challenge right now -
Untraditional Christmas colors.

While everyone is out there last minute Christmas shopping,
I hope that you have patience and understanding.  And I hope that the
stress of the shopping will not outweigh what this season is really about.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Angel

Hope everyone is having a beautiful Sunday morning.
We have ice here and it is very cold.
I am already ready for spring, and it isn't even officially winter yet.

All Dressed Up is having a new challenge on their blog right now.
Christmas

They have some absolutely beautiful stamps.
And they have just come out with some gorgeous Christmas ones.
I've got their stamps on my Christmas wish list, but I had to go ahead and buy one.  The Angel was just too beautiful not to use for this Christmas.
Of course, so are the other ones.  So, I may have to buy more. :)

I used some really pretty digital paper I found from The DigiChick.
I added some burlap from the DCWV Burlap stack, some gorgeous lace,
and some pretty roses with some diecut vines.

I added some white flocking to the angels wings to give it a pretty feathery look.
It's a little hard to see, but it gives a real nice effect.
I also added a lot of glitter for the dress.

I think this may be one of my favorite stamps.

I wanted to make the perfect tag for my husband's present.
My husband loves sweets. And he loves his Chocolate Chip cookies.
So I thought this would be perfect!

This tag is completely all Bugaboo!
I used some fabulous digi paper from Bugaboo with chocolate chip cookies.
I also added a Bugaboo cookie chef stamp.
And the saying is from Bugaboo as well.
"I love you more than chocolate chip cookies"
This is perfect for my husband!

I added a little bit of lace at the bottom as an added touch.

Cute As A Button Cake

I can't believe it is the first of December already!
I just had a great Thanksgiving, birthday,  and now I am ready for Christmas!

I haven't had much time to do a lot of paper crafting lately, but
I have had some time to do a little baking.

I made a white chocolate cake today and I couldn't decide how to decorate it, so I tried something a little different.  I printed out one of my mother's digi stamps
from All Dressed Up.  This is one of their freebies, but it is just so darn cute. :)

I used this stamp the other day on a card, and loved it so much,
I decided to put it on a cake.

This is the card I used the stamp on.

And this is the cake I made.

I really love this stamp.

Pictures

I made a birthday present for my daughter, but I still needed a card.
I used some really cool stamps from Saturated Canary.
I used the "picture frame" stamp from Bugaboo to
enhance the Saturated Canary Stamps.

I took several different stamps and cut them down to fit the photo frames.
I picked out the stamps that seemed to fit my daughter's personality the best.

I used DCWV Tradewinds Stack and some great Burlap paper from
DCWV Burlap Stack.  I love these stacks!

I added a burlap rose, some buttons, and a couple of vintage brads.
My daughter really loves vintage things, so I thought it fit her well.

I distressed the card for an added touch.  I love the distressed look.
I used a file to rough up the edges, and I curled some of the edges.
I also unraveled the edges of the burlap paper.

I LOVE the Saturated Canary saying that I used for the inside.
This is a beautiful saying for all girls.

These pictures really represent all that my daughter is:
she fishes and hunts and loves the outdoors, bakes, clogs (dances), beauty pageants, helps on the farm, loves campfires and bonfires,
and is a great help to me always.  I am very proud of her.
She is one of a kind, and I wanted to make a one of a
kind card for her to represent her.

My Favorite Things

This week is my daughter's birthday.
I wanted to make something really special for her birthday.
So, I decided on an explosion box.

Since one of her favorite things is baking, I had to buy some
new House Mouse stamps for the occasion.

Since her #1 best selling cake is White Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting (and yes, it is even better than it sounds), I colored the chocolate chips white for white chocolate.
I also added some glitter to the cake.
I used sky blue glittering H20's for the water in the measuring cup.
I also added some white flocking to the bowl to look like flour.

I used DCWV Chateau Lavender Stack.
I wanted to make it a little extra special, so I took a picture of a sign that we had made for our kitchen that says "Holly & Faith's kitchen".  Then I printed it out on cardstock, cut it out and attached it to the box.  I thought that would add a really nice personalization to the box.

I can't wait for her to open it!
