DREAM BIG!

We had a great weekend at another exciting clogging competition.
My daughter's team won the Overall Amateur Grand Champion Team Award.
So, of course, I couldn't wait to scrapbook it.

I found this great sketch layout on My Mind's Eye blog.
I found the perfect My Mind's Eye papers to go with it.
I used a variety of the Lost & Found papers to make this page layout.

I felt a little overwhelmed when I first saw this sketch, but I just took one square at a time, and it finally came together.

Ronda Palazzari MME May Sketch

I used the numbers from one of the Lost & Found stacks to include the date
of the competition and the 1 to note their accomplishment.

I added the rhinestones because all of the cloggers at the Studio love bling!

The journaling around the edge was very easy to do.
You only need to use a ruler to draw a light line around the page,
journal around the edges, then erase the pencil lines.

This has been one of my most favorite sketches to do.
I am entering this to My Mind's Eye's May Challenge.

Red, White, & Blue Wedding Card

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
I hope that everyone was able to take time today to
remember all those that have gone on before us.
Please remember all of our Veterans that have served our country.
Our hats are off to you today, and everyday!
THANK YOU!

Now on to my latest project.
I needed to make a Bridal Shower card for my daughter's dance teacher.

I made this card using the sketch from MOJO Monday.

And the color inspiration came from the Cupcake Inspirations blog.

The Bride's "Save The Date" card used Blue and White colors.
I added the Red for the roses to complete the color palate.

I used white card stock and run it through the embosser with the small dots.
I added some blue glitter paper at the bottom.

I used a Stamping Bella clear stamp (Love this stamp!).
I cut out the bride and glued her down onto some navy cardstock.
I completely covered the wedding gown with some very sparkly glitter.

Next I added some pretty white lace and a lovely fabric flower.

I will be entering this card into the following Challenges:

Ladybugs!!

It's Graduation time again.
College and High School Graduation cards to be made.

I made this card for a good friend's daughter who recently
 graduated high school.

I found the sketch I wanted to use on The Sweet Stop  blog.

I also got my ladybug idea from Cupcake Inspirations blog.

I used some of my ladybug paper and some paper with daisies.
I have been itching to get to use this paper since I bought it,
and this was the perfect time.

I also used a Penny Black Hedgehog stamp with a small ladybug.

Thinking of You

Good Friday Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great Friday!
And hopefully a great weekend too!

I have someone very close to me that is not feeling real well, so I decided
to make them a "Thinking of You" card.

I found the sketch I wanted to use on MOJO Monday's blogsite.
They really do have some awesome sketches.

I went thru my stash and found some papers that had just a little bit left of that I really liked, but hadn't used in a while.
A couple of punches and a little ribbon and we were good to go.

I am entering this into the MOJO Monday challenge for this week.

Barb's Mother's Day Card

Happy Saturday Morning!
It's rainy here today, so it's a great day for crafting.
By the way, this is Barb here this morning.

I found this great sketch challenge on MOJO Monday that is just what I needed
for my Mom's Mother's Day Card.
I couldn't wait to try it!

I just bought some of the DCWV Lavender Chateau stack.
OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE THIS STACK!
My friend uses this one a lot and I absolutely love it.

I used flowered lacey punch for the lavender paper
I also added a pretty little butterfly charm to my card for a little extra something special.
I really like the glitter on these flowers.  This may end up being one of my favorite stacks.

Wedding Shower Card

Hey everybody! This is Barb.

It's been a busy week, but I still managed to get in a little bit of crafting.
I have a wedding shower to go to tomorrow, and I needed a shower card for the Bride-to-be.

I used some paper I had in my stash, and some ribbon.
I love pink and green together, but I had to add a little blue for the wedding.

I really liked the sketch on the Sweet Stop blog,
so I couldn't wait to use it.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Loves Me - Loves Me Not - Loves Me

I have one more card to post up for this week.
I have been very busy with birthdays, anniversaries,
Mother's Day, and more birthdays!
It's been a great week for crafting!

Here's my latest card.

On this card I used DCWV Glitter stack and Lost and Found Blush stack (I have really been using that
one a lot here lately!).

I took a soft brown ink stamp and just added a
little color around the edges for a more vintage look.

I added a little glitter in the daisy for a little sparkle.

I found this card sketch on MOJO Monday.
I really like it!

Feeling Groovy Bella

Hey everybody!  This is the 2nd card I want to share with you today.
I had two very special people to make a card for this week,
so I really got to be creative.

I used papers from DCWV Glitter stack, Carta Bella Paris Girl stack,
and Lost & Found Blush stack.
I also used a Bella stamp from Stamping Bella again.
(Love those stamps!)
I used Copic markers to color my stamp design.

I cut an oval out of black paper and run it through the embossing machine.
I used the music notes embossing folder.

I also used some wonderful decorative tape at the top and bottom of this card.
If you have never used it, you should really give it a try.  It is so easy to use!

I also used a chipboard music note as a template.
I cut it out of black paper, then used a glue stick and added black glitter.

I used a glue stick and white glitter on Bella and a little on her Ipod player.

Bella Flower Birthday!

Hope everyone is doing well on this beautiful, warm Thursday.
We are having wonderful weather and it feels like Spring is finally here.
Since it has been so nice, I was inspired to make something that suites the weather and the season.

I used the card sketch from the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge blog site.

I am going to enter this card into their challenge.

I used several different papers for this pretty card.
I used Carta Bella's Paris Girl stack, Lost & Found Blush stack,
DCWV Chateau Lavendar, and DCWV Glitter stack.

I used a stamp from Stamping Bella
These are really awesome stamps.
If you have never used one, you should really check them out.

I added some glitter to the center of the stamped flower and to the
flower on Bella's green top.

I used a glitter pen to trace the word "Magical" in the sentiment.

I made this for a girl that loves a lot of bling!
