Ready for Christmas Dinner

I am so excited to share my latest project with this adorable

I needed a napkin holder for Christmas dinner
and this Lacy Sunshine Eleanor & Pickles Nutcracker image was just perfect!
I found this napkin holder at the local Thrift Store.
I do love a bargain!

So I went from this to...

THIS!

I started by spray painting my metal napkin holder black.
I layered red, black and white papers.
I also added a Tim Holtz Nutcracker, and a Holly die.
I also added Glossy Accents to her glasses for a more realistic effect.
Lastly I covered the whole design with Modge Podge.

Now I'm ready for Christmas dinner!

All Dressed Up for Ice Skating!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
It is sooooo cold here, and I am not ready for winter to come.
But, I am soooo ready for Christmas!!

Today I wanted to share a card I made to celebrate winter.
I used Little Skater from All Dressed Up stamps for my focal point.

Isn't she just the cutest Little Skater??
I added some snowflake cutouts, snowflake die, ice skates die, and a deer die.
I also added some cheesecloth to the background to add a little dimension.
And of course I needed more glitter, so I added glitter to all the
snowflakes on the paper!!
Because of course, there wasn't enough glitter in the ice skates or snowflakes.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

I want to share my latest project with you today.
I think this may be one of my favorites.

I decided with Christmas coming up, I would like to make
something to hang in my craft room.
So, I went to the Thrift Store (I do love going to a good Thrift Store)
and found a gorgeous mirror.
I'm sure that one similar to it could probably be found at
Hobby Lobby, or some other similar store.

Not bad for $3.50, huh?
As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for a Nativity scene.
And since Jesus is the Reason for the Season, I instantly went to work on it.

I used some Lacy Sunshine stamps for my project.
Aren't they just the best??
and last but not least Farmer Pickles and his Chicks.
I only used the chicks from the Farmer Pickles and his Chicks stamp.

I used some barnwood digi paper and some beautiful Bo Bunny Glitter paper
for my Christmas night sky.
I added some Glitter to my Angel wings and fur on the Angel's dress.

I hope you will check out these wonderful images because they are
fabulous for Christmas!
You may want to grab one and enter the Lacy Sunshine challenges.
