Pink Lemonade Anyone?

How perfect is pink lemonade on a hot summer's day?
Love me some ice cold lemonade!

I was inspired to make a new tag by one of Tim Holtz's new dies.

I thought a yellow plaid background would be nice, and I used some pretty pink patterned paper for the lemonade.
I added some DCWV burlap paper, a white lacy doily, and lots of lovely flowers.
For the lemonade cup, I used a Tim Holtz die.

Sack Race!!

It's time for the County Fair!!
And what more fun is there than hopping in a sack race!!

Lacy Sunshine has these super fun new stamps now,
and I absolutely LOVE them!!

I was inspired by Cindy van Oorschot from the Lacy Sunshine Design Team
with her fabulous sack race card.

For this tag, I used some pretty blue paper and added my stamp.
I also cut out some banners from some scrap paper I had, and added a
pretty glittery blue ribbon for 1st place.
Lastly I added a sunny brad and some fun fibers.

Wild About You!

Good Afternoon!
Today has been such a nice quiet day to craft.
A little rain outside always makes me feel good.

I want to share a card I made using a Lacy Sunshine image.

I love Lacy Sunshine's Eleanor & Pickles!  Aren't they just adorable?
I used some paper from DCWV, had drawn some little bones, added some ribbon from my stash, and a bit of burlap.
As the finishing touch, I did a little bit of primitive looking
bone doodling around the edges.

Thinking of You...

I wanted to try something new this week.
Something definitely out of my comfort zone.

I decided to used several different techniques on this bookmark.

I printed a digital stamp on a page from an old book.
I also used a clear stamp to stamp the saying.
I used a stencil to stencil "Hope".
I used paste and a stencil to create a textured design,
then I used 3 colors of Distress Stain to cover it.
I also used some Antique White Frantage and some
old brass colored Embossing Frantage.
I used distress inks around the edge and a distressing tool.
After that, I added a little bit of ribbon.
Lastly, a few fibers to finish it all off.

I tried to combine a lot of different techniques on this one.
