My Favorite Things

This week is my daughter's birthday.
I wanted to make something really special for her birthday.
So, I decided on an explosion box.

Since one of her favorite things is baking, I had to buy some
new House Mouse stamps for the occasion.

Since her #1 best selling cake is White Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting (and yes, it is even better than it sounds), I colored the chocolate chips white for white chocolate.
I also added some glitter to the cake.
I used sky blue glittering H20's for the water in the measuring cup.
I also added some white flocking to the bowl to look like flour.

I used DCWV Chateau Lavender Stack.
I wanted to make it a little extra special, so I took a picture of a sign that we had made for our kitchen that says "Holly & Faith's kitchen".  Then I printed it out on cardstock, cut it out and attached it to the box.  I thought that would add a really nice personalization to the box.

I can't wait for her to open it!

I would like to enter this into the House Mouse Challenge - My favorite things, Cute Card Thursday - Anything But a Card,
and Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes

  1. What a sweet way to celebrate your daughter's birthday. Looks like these little mice put as much effort into making their cake as she does making hers. (Maybe hers tastes better though). LOL Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us here at House mouse & Friends this week.
