If I haven't mentioned it before, I am sooo ready for Spring.

We're having another cold evening with more ice.

I really don't like a lot of ice.

 

But on the upside, I have taken to doing a lot of crafting.

Especially tags.

Love those tags!
The great thing about tags is that you can write on the back of them
and they can double as cards.
Especially if you make the tags larger, like I did this one.
 

I am super excited about the tag I just got through making tonight.

I used the absolutely adorable Saturated Canary

Sweater Socks Fairy stamp.

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted to make my tag with a romantic vintage look.

I used some gorgeous paper that I had been hoarding for a special occasion.

This gorgeous 2 sided rosy paper is from Maja Design.

And trust me, the pictures don't do it justice.

 

I added 3 different colors of some sweet fabric roses, a beautiful crystal brad,

a pink button, a metal "happy" charm (because that's how this tag makes me feel), and some crystal swirls with just a few pearls added in.

 

The bottom of the tag has 3 layers of dreamy lace.

Two layers of beautiful white venetian lace, and one layer of some

pretty tan lace to add a little contrast.

 

And as usual, I have topped it off with some fabulous fibers.

Which of course I absolutely love.

 

For the final touch, I added glitter.

I know, big shock right?  I do love lots of glitter!

I added glitter in the fairy wings, and around the edges of the tag.
