I did because I got to do a little bit of card making.

 

I was inspired by From The Heart's sketch challenge.

 

I needed a card for my nephew who is a card dealer in Mississippi.

I found this image from From the Heart, and it was just perfect!

 

 

 

I used a DCWV red glittered card.

I added 4 playing cards and then my "Happy Birthday" sentiment.

Love this stamp!

Laundry Days

It's finally Friday!!!

I am so excited!

It has been such a looong week, but this weekend should be more fun.

Spending some time with my family is my favorite thing to do.

 

But for now, I want to share something I created using

this really cute Lacy Sunshine stamp.

It's called Mayde Laundry Days.

I love this new series of stamps from Lacy Sunshine!

They are just perfect for tags for wedding shower gifts

or housewarming gifts of cleaning supplies.

Just adorable!

 

 

I have been looking for something to make for my laundry room,

and this was just perfect!!!

Now my laundry room is a little bit more cheerful. :)

From The Heart Easter Card

I want to share an Easter tag that I made for this upcoming Easter.

I used this really adorable stamp from From The Heart stamps.

 

I also used the sketch from From The Heart for their current challenge.

 

 

This is the tag I made with this sketch.

 

 

I used papers from DCWV Sweet Stack (one of my favorite paper stacks).

I added some fabulous fibers to go with it.

Some pretty, sparkly pink and green.

This is my latest tag for an Easter gift.

Hoppy Easter~

Hey everybody!

Today I have been busy making an Easter card for one of my favorite Aunts.

She used to do a lot of gardening, so I wanted to do make

 something with flowers.

 

I found this cute little stamp at Bugaboo Stamps, which was perfect!

Cute little bunnies, with flowers, and doing a little bit of gardening.

I used some really pretty paper from my stash, some DCWV,

and some from My Mind's Eye.

 

I added some gorgeous lace and pearls, and some springy flowers.

I wanted use lots of pretty springy colors. Green, yellow, blue, pink, and white.

I just love Spring!

Paris Chic!

Happy Thursday!

It is a beautiful day here (finally!).

Not to cold, and sunny.  Love it!!

I am so very excited today!

I know, I know I'm excited a lot, but I'm really excited about this new card.

Since I am the March Guest Designer for All Dressed Up,

I got to use one of their fabulous new images.

And they are fabulous!!

All Dressed Up

For my card this week, I went with a shabby chic theme

with their new stamp "A Little Time for Me".
 

I used some fabulous paper from Carta Bella Paris Girl collection 6x6 stack.

I did cut part of the paper out to make the "Café" sign
and the "Carnival" Banner.


I added a white doily, white lace punch, and just plain ol' white lace!
A few flowers, pearls, and crystals, and I was finished.


I love this design so much!
I made this card to go with a gift of coffee for a very close friend of mine.

Getting Ready for Easter

For my first DT card I went for Springy

 

 

For this card I used some pretty paper from My Mind's Eye 6x6 stack.

Added some cute little turquoise and white flowers with rhinestone centers.

 

For my second card I went a little bit more vintage

 

 

I used some vintage looking paper from a Paper Studio pad

that I got from Hobby Lobby.

I also added a banner at the top with a couple of cute flowers.

Spring Blog Hop

Big news!

Just Inspirational Challenges is having our first ever Blog Hop!

I got to use a stamp from one of my favorite companies - All Dressed Up.

 

 

I wanted to make something bright and cheerful.

I used the Fairy Magic stamp from All Dressed up.

 

I used some green and purple paper from DCWV Chateau Lavender mat stack.

Then I added some very glittery green paper for the background.

 

I added some beautiful flowers with some pearl centers.

I added some fabulous purple and green glittery fibers around the edges.

 

And of course I had to add some glitter.

So I added some glitter to the fairy wings for some sparkle.

For my project as a Guest Design Team Member I have made a birthday

card using the Looking Gorgeous stamp from this new launch.

 

I think she is absolutely beautiful!

She looks like she is all dressed up and ready for a night out on the town.



 

I used some really pretty paper from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found.

I added some gorgeous lace, some pretty roses, and some nice little brads.

I also added some brown netting along the top of the lace,

and as a bow at the base of the roses.

 

I love this stamp!

These images would be great to use for this challenge, plus you

have the chance to win 3 stamps of your choice.

We are having another exciting challenge over at Just Inspirational Challenges.

 

Our theme this week is flowers.

All you have to do is use flowers. Something to get us in the mood for Spring.

This week I got to play with a cute little stamp from Crafty Sentiments.

And since I have been into making tags, I couldn't resist making another one.

 

 

I decided to go with a western theme.

I used some old fashioned looking postcard paper from My Mind's Eye.

 

I also added some pretty flowers from Bo Bunny. 

I added a brad to the center of the flowers for a nice touch.

Then I topped it all off with some cute fibers and ribbons.
